Fee Protection Scheme (FPS)
Your course fees are protected. BCI complies fully with the Fee Protection Scheme requirements under the Private Education Act.
What is the Fee Protection Scheme?
The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) is a mandatory requirement for all Private Education Institutions (PEIs) registered with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). It protects students' course fees in the event that a PEI is unable to continue operations or if a student withdraws from their course.
BCI ensures that all students' fees are protected through an approved FPS provider. This means that your investment in your education is safeguarded at all times.
All BCI students are covered under an approved Fee Protection Scheme.
FPS Coverage
- Protects course fees paid in advance
- Covers fees if BCI ceases operations
- Covers fees if student's course is cancelled
- Applicable to all full-time international students
- Administered by an approved FPS provider
- Certificate issued to each student upon enrolment
How FPS Works at BCI
Upon acceptance, BCI collects course fees and deposits them with the approved FPS provider.
Your fees are held in a protected account. BCI receives funds progressively as you complete your course.
You receive an FPS certificate confirming your fees are protected. Keep this document safely.
